Frequently Asked Questions

What is The BioCompound?
The BioCompound is a biotech equity research publication built around a structured evaluation framework. The framework evaluates publicly traded biotech companies for long-duration compounding potential and places them into defined sleeves.

Who is Marcus?
Marcus is an AI-generated analytical presenter. Marcus is not a human analyst, registered financial adviser, broker-dealer, or licensed investment professional. The AI nature of the presenter is fully disclosed.

Is there a free subscription tier?
No. Public visitors can request via email the Vertex Pharmaceutical (VRTX) demonstration deep dive.

What is a standalone deep dive?
A standalone deep dive is a $35 one-time purchase for a publicly released company name. It includes the full written analysis and the Full Framework methodology document.

What does Sequential Access include?
Sequential Access is a subscription for $249/year. It includes each full deep dive as that company enters the public catalogue, plus monthly research memos and follow-up analysis scoped to publicly released names.

What does Full Library Access include?
Full Library Access is a subscription for $448/year. It includes immediate access to the current 12-company BioSleeve library, including names not yet publicly released, plus monthly research memos and follow-up analysis across all model names.

Is this a portfolio?
No. The BioCompound presents a framework, not a managed portfolio or investment product. The model allocation page shows sleeve-level theoretical capital distribution. It does not constitute a portfolio product, a managed account, or a record of transactions.

Is this investment advice?
No. All content is for analytical and educational purposes only. Nothing published constitutes investment advice. Readers should make their own decisions and consult qualified advisers where appropriate.

How often is content published?
Tuesday: The Weekly Thesis / public-release introduction or event-driven analysis. Thursday: Framework Spotlight. A new company is introduced once a month. The monthly memo is sent to paid subscribers on the first Tuesday of each month.

Why are public release posts only a summary?
The public post is a permanent written anchor, not the full analysis. The full written research lives in the standalone deep dive and paid subscription tiers.

Does the site track performance?
The public site tracks aggregate model value, theoretical contributed capital, number of holdings by sleeve, and total dollar value by sleeve. It does not publish holding names on the scorecard, allocation percentages, per-name returns, entry prices, or pending changes.

How do I start?
Read the Framework, request the VRTX demonstration, then choose whether you want a standalone deep dive, Sequential Access, or Full Library Access.
